Some of the clients that really stick out in my mind are the ones that have come...that have been really nervous, or they've had something that's really impacting on their daily life. And throughout the sessions, as they begin to unpick and unravel what's troubling them and they share this in a safe space with someone who's truly listening and trying to understand their point of view, quite often they find their own answers and they find their own way of being resilient, and almost find their own tools in the long run to become their own therapist. And that's really rewarding when I work with people like that, because session on session, you see their confidence grow as they start to make the connections for themselves. And generally, by the end of our time together, they leave knowing, in the future, should something impact on their lives again, they can actually draw on their own resources and if...so to speak, be their own therapist.
