Therapists aren't the same, the same way that, you know, not all friendships are the same. So it's really important to use the assessment session. So, that's the first session for the client and the counsellor to really work out if they're a really good fit to work together if they click and if they're the best match. There's no obligation in the first session or in any point in the therapy so the client, where we welcome the client to think about is this the best therapist for you and is this one who you want to spend your therapy sessions with.
