Affirmations are statements that we make to ourselves, spoken aloud, in our minds or even written in a journal.  The important thing to remember about an affirmation is that when we say it, we say it with confidence about the desired outcome.  Practicing your own mindful affirmations can be a valuable tool to help with changing your state of mind and to help bring about positive change in your life.

 

Below are a few examples of affirmations that you can use for mindful practice.  You can use these to start with, or you could perhaps write your own, focussing on areas of your life in which you would like to see a change.
