How Patricia overcame her grief: A case study on our bereavement counselling
Patricia, a single mother, had recently experienced the traumatic grief of her father’s death. She was struggling to work because of the immense pressure she felt having to support and care for her elderly mother and two children. Sadly, Patricia had no one she felt she could talk to about the loss of her father until she found Pinnacle.
During our sessions, we encouraged Patricia to talk about how she was feeling about the death of her father. We then provided practical advice on allowances that Patricia would be entitled to, along with details of local care centres that could help her and her mother.
After the course of our therapy sessions and advice on resources she could pull from, Patricia overcame her grief and was finally able to provide for those who needed her.
