Richard’s background and qualifications
Richard began his professional training as a post-graduate and is qualified in treatments such as CBT, critical incident stress debriefing, occupational and organisational stress management, alternative dispute resolution, and mediation. He is also a trauma risk management practitioner. EMDR trauma practitioner, has professional membership and is fully accredited to the British Association for Counselling and Psychology (BACP).Â
Richard holds his stakeholder coaching accreditation for the acclaimed Marshall Goldsmith leadership coaching, helping him deliver highly effective coaching to successful leaders wanting to achieve positive, lasting change in behaviour for themselves and their teams.
Top tier experience with trauma and critical incident clients
Richard has worked extensively with City of London Police as a psychological trauma consultant and for the London Underground providing triage and treatment to those experiencing trauma as well as consulting on its company-wide disaster response policy. He also worked with survivors of the London terror attacks. Â
Richard has assisted the National Crime Agency providing psychological assessments and therapy interventions for individuals assigned to the Witness Protection Programme and has acted as a mediator between Police Officers and perpetrators.Â
